Ithaca College’s SAB is one of the only student-run organization that brings free and fun comedy, music, film, and special events to campus!

The way SAB works is our executive board comes together once a week to plan, schedule and discuss  upcoming events that we think IC students would be interested to attend.  Every part of our events are thoroughly thought out by our board that is made up of IC students.

What’s so special about the SAB team is that here, us students are allowed to get a hands on expereince with planning and actually carrying out events.  Events take a ton of work; if a SAB member wants to bring in a professional, such as the comedy chair and music chair often do, they must negotiate contractual agreements such as transportation and living arrangements for their guests.

SAB is also responsible for what happens behind the scenes of all these events (advertising, logistics, finance, social media…etc.)  SAB members work hard to make sure students are aware of upcoming events and that SAB is budgeting its money appropriately.
